The oeuvre of the zine seeks to ask questions—sometimes unique, sometimes non-descript, sometimes commonsensical, to get a variety of responses. our contributors range from children to industry professionals—so there is always something asked or answered with a fresh perspective.

In each issue of the zine, we had questions/themes, such as the (1) meaning of q and questioning, (2) the meaning of home, (3) what is stepping in, out, or around the self like and (4) is everything always black and white. The questions at first may seem disparate are concerned a lot more about personal perspectives and in relation to common mood and experiences in the year.

Printed and distributed for free in limited quantities of 500 copies periodically at accessible areas such as cafés, bookstores, lifestyle stores/spaces as a newspaper broad sheet format, q was created to be easily read on location or at home, at a time that is comfortable so that the reading could allow for a headspace to be curious, to be inquisitive and to question.
